Introduce Ombar- a raw, vegan and dairy-free chocolate bar to a wider consumer audience.
Approach
Education was the most important element of our initial PR campaign, as journalists and consumers alike didn’t understand or like the sound of a raw and vegan-friendly chocolate bar.
Predominantly press office-based, we coordinated targeted sampling with media and influencers, proactive media relations and one-to-one press meetings to help elevate the brand into one of the leading raw chocolate brands in the UK and overseas!
Ombar Results
In the first two years of the campaign, we achieved more than 150 articles in target consumer publications from monthly glossies to Daily Nationals, positioning Ombar as a cult healthy treat brand that is much sought after by both consumers and media. The media coverage helped to strengthen the retail distribution of the brand including a target listing in Waitrose.
